Many have recently noticed that Pluto TV—on a growing number of channels—is no longer just randomly placing ads in the middle of shows. Pluto TV has started to correctly place commercial breaks into shows they would typically go into. This noticeably improves the viewing experience.
Pluto TV is facing a growing number of competitors, including The Roku Channel, which said they plan to keep the number of commercials low. Now it seems that Pluto TV’s response is to better place ads for an improved viewing experience.
Over the last year Pluto TV has slowly been improving its lineup, including adding a ton of ViacomCBS content and new programming almost weekly.
With free streaming services like Pluto TV being the hottest topic in cord cutting right now we will likely continue to see improvements as they try to stand out from each other.
