Life is a ball again. Laughter is calling for you. Where? Pluto TV.
Fans of Three’s Company are in for a nostalgic treat this September as The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health teams up with free streaming powerhouse Pluto TV for a heartfelt celebration of John Ritter’s life and legacy. On September 12, the foundation will host its annual Evening from the Heart LA gala, featuring a one-night-only celebrity live read of the beloved sitcom’s classic episode “Going to Pot.” Although tickets for the in-person Hollywood event have sold out, viewers can still catch the star-studded reading online and later, on-demand exclusively through Pluto TV.
Leading the cast are Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), Adam Devine (Workaholics), and Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), alongside original Three’s Company cast members Priscilla Barnes and Richard Kline. They’ll be joined by an ensemble of comedic talent including Ron Funches, Holly Robinson Peete, Steven Weber, Reno Wilson, and more. Tom Bergeron will provide stage directions, while Dennis Dugan (Happy Gilmore) directs the performance.
Where and How to Watch
While the Evening from the Heart LA event will stream live on The John Ritter Foundation website on September 12, Pluto TV is the exclusive on-demand streaming partner. The platform will release the celebrity live read following the event and will also host a special Three’s Company marathon in tribute to Ritter. The beloved sitcom already has its own dedicated 24/7 channel on Pluto TV, making it easy for fans to dive into classic episodes anytime for free.
Pluto TV’s EVP of Programming, Amy Kuessner, emphasized the importance of the collaboration: “This partnership reflects our continued commitment to celebrating iconic television while supporting meaningful causes.” Founder Amy Yasbeck echoed the sentiment, calling the event “a celebration of John’s life and the community that has grown around his memory.”
For fans of classic television and modern day reverence if it, this is the perfect opportunity to revisit a timeless favorite, laugh with a new cast of stars, and support life-saving work in aortic health awareness… all without spending a dime.
