Pluto TV Brings Kamen Rider to New TokuSHOUTsu Channel

Pluto LogoPluto TV announced a new addition to its lineup that should have fans of the Japanese tokusatsu genre very happy. Located on Channel 681, the new TokuSHOUTsu is a new free channel from Shout Factory that will serve up Japanese classics like Kamen Rider, which hasn’t been widely available in North America to this point.

The new channel kicks off with the show’s original episode, which first aired in April, 1971, and follows the adventures of a superhero with a distinctly insect-like sense of style. Shout Factory announced the new channel will premiere tonight at midnight Pacific Time (3am Eastern) with the first season of Kamen Rider and fans of tokusatsu can expect more to come.

In all, the free Pluto TV app offers more than 200 channels, with support on platforms including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, and more. The available content and channels tend to evolve over time and the service recently re-added a 24/7 collection of James Bond movies.
