Plex’s Cloud Server is Now Available to Everyone

Today Plex announced that they are opening up their Plex Cloud to all paying Plex users. The service eliminates the need for an always-on PC or other network-attached piece of hardware in order to use the Plex media player software for watching your savedTV shows and movies, viewing photos, or streaming from your music collection.

You can use Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox to now host your content on Plex. This means all of your videos, music, and photos can be acceded no matter where you are or even if you don’t have a server to host the files.

Yet you can still host the files on your computer or use a device like the Nvidia Shield to be our home media server.
