Plex is Shutting Down Their Cloud Service

Today Plex started to contact users to let them know that in November they will be shutting down Plex Cloud. Users who want to continue to access their content through Plex will need to move it to a locally hosted media server.

Plex Cloud allowed users to stream content from their DropBox, Google, and Microsoft One Drive cloud storage. This meant all of your videos, music, and photos can be reached no matter where you are or even if you don’t have a server to host the files. (In the past Amazon Drive was also supported but later dropped because of technical issues.)
