Plex Adds A Traditional Grid Guide for OTA TV to Roku & The Apple TV

Last week Plex a popular media center app rolled out an updated user interface for Roku and Apple TV users. With this update, Plex rolled out an update adding a long asked for feature a traditional grid guide. This means now when you access your antenna through Plex on Roku and the Apple TV you will find a gride guide like this one:

In a statement on Plex website they announced the update saying: “While we think that searching and our Discover view are often a faster way to access DVR-related content for users, many users are familiar with a traditional “TV grid” style schedule and may wish to use that. Displayed in a scrollable timeline format, the Channels view of the Guide gives you an overview of what’s on every channel you receive. From here, you can see program details, schedule a recording, filter the timeline view to only show a certain day, and also scroll forward and backward in time.”
