PlayStation Vue’s New Roku Channel Includes Many New Bugs (Here is How to Fix Lost DVR Recordings, Lost Favorite Channels, & More)

Playstation vue logoYesterday PlayStation Vue rolled out a new update to its Roku Channel. Sadly this update also seems to have included several new bugs, especially for older Roku Players. Thankfully there are a few possible fixes for these new bugs.

Here are the known bugs and possible fixes:

Lost DVR Recordings:

Some readers are reporting they have lost their DVR recordings. There is a simple fix for this close out of the PlayStation Vue Roku Channel and restart it to find your DVRed shows. If that does not work reboot your Roku by unplugging it and plugging it back in.

Lost Favorite Channels:

One of the most annoying bugs is that PlayStation Vue subscribers have lost access to their favorite channels in the channel guide. Sadly the Favorites Channels, for now, are gone in the guide but at the top of the PlayStation Vue home screen, you will now find a tab at the top called Favorite Channels. There you can find your previously saved Favorite Channels. Hopefully, they return to the guide soon.

Unable to Pause:

Some readers are reporting that when they try to pause PlayStation Vue the video stops for a second and immediately starts back up. The only fix we have found so far in exiting out of the Roku Channel doing a full restart of your Roku. This has reportedly helped some PlayStation Vue subscribers.
