PlayStation Vue Updates Their Fire TV App With Several New Features

Do you ever wish you could quickly access more episodes of your favorite shows on PlayStation Vue? Well, now Sony has updated their Fire TV PlayStation Vue app to allow just that.

Now if you hold down your select button on a show in the menu it will launch a new menu letting you watch latest episode, find more from that channel, or remove a show from your programs.

No longer do you need to dig down into the My Shows tab to find your DVR recordings. Now you can do that any time you run across that show in the guide.

PlayStation Vue also added the ability to restart live show you also setup to DVR. Now if you try to start a show that you have recording and has already started you will get the option to start the episode from the beginning or watch it live.

As best we can tell this is only happening for shows you are recording. Unlike Sling TV that will allow it even if you didn’t set up a recording.

We are reaching out to Sony for comment to find out more about this update to the PlayStation Vue app and will update this story if we learn more.
