PlayStation Vue Rolls Out a Second Update to Their Roku Channel to Fix Bugs

Last week PlayStation Vue rolled out an update to their Roku Channel with some new features, sadly though it also added a few bugs. Now according to our readers, it looks like Sony just pushed out an update to fix these bugs and restore some features that have not been working.

To get this update just go into the system settings on your Roku’s home screen and run a system update. Or you could wait until it auto updates your Roku likely tonight with the new PlayStation Vue channel.

Did this update fix your issues? Leave us a comment and let us know how PlayStation Vue is now working for you.

Here is what was in last weeks update:

One of the big changes was to sports viewing. Now when clicking on a sports game already in action Roku owners are reporting getting a new menu pop-up asking which feed of the game you want to watch if there are multiple to pick from.

The other change seems to be for the DVR as channels now put DVR content up first requiring some extra clicks to get to the live channel, according to a post on Reddit.

Overall, the changes seem to be minor because the focus seems to be on improving the channel’s performance, something PlayStation Vue has needed to do on Roku for some time. Hopefully, Sony will continue to roll out updates in the weeks and months to come.
