PlayStation Vue Reportedly Has 800K Subscribers & YouTube TV Reportedly Tops 1 Million Subscribers

Finding out exact subscriber numbers for some streaming services like PlayStation Vue and YouTube TV can be difficult. Often they do not announce subscriber numbers. Now thanks to eMarketer we are getting a good idea of how well these services are doing.

According to eMarketer PlayStation Vue now has over 800,000 subscribers and YouTube TV reportedly tops 1 million subscribers. These numbers lineup very closely with what we have been hearing from other sources over the last few weeks and months.

According to eMarketer here is a full breakdown of the top live TV streaming services ranked by subscribers:

*Philo was not included in eMarketer list. That could mean it is bellow fuboTV or that they did not have enough data about Philo.

This lines up very well with what we have heard from places like TDG recently that put YouTube TV at 1 million and Hulu at 2 million. The question now is will Sling TV hold on to their top ranking as growth has slowed but Hulu’s growth seems to be speeding up. It is very possible that in a year from now this list will look very different.
