PlayStation Vue Re-Adds the On-Demand Section & Search to Some Devices

If you are hanging around PlayStation Vue until it shuts down, you may have noticed some features that went missing a few weeks ago. For some reason search and on-demand both went away from the PlayStation Vue apps and websites. Now Sony has re-added search and on-demand inside the PlayStation Vue app.

The good news is most of the on-demand content is still there, but it is just a lot harder to find. Now you must go to the channel’s home page and look for the show you want to watch on-demand. Sadly, the easy-to-find central location for all things on demand is now gone.

Sony may have re-added these features to help any possible tech sale. Now though all bids for the tech behind PlayStation Vue have reportedly been submitted.

With just a little over a month, until PlayStation Vue shuts down, we may very well see other aspects of PlayStation Vue be disabled or channels disappear. Sony has not issued any statements about the changes and with their history, they probably won’t.
