PlayStation Vue Now Supports Apple’s Single Sign

The recent Apple tvOS beta update added has added PlayStation Vue as a TV provider allowing you to sign in on your iPhone or iPad and now Apple TV that is running the most recent beta.

Update: I am starting to hear that all Apple TVs now support PlayStation Vue single sign in.

Apple TV’s single sign on is one of the features that help the Apple TV sign out. This feature allows Apple TV owners with services like PlayStation Vue to auto log into all the apps that support PlayStation Vue. No longer will you need to log in to each individual app. This can save a lot of time when you are rushing to get in to WatchESPN to catch the end of the game.

Sling TV has been on this list for some time on both iOS and the tvOS devices. Now it seems at least on iOS 11 Beta PlayStation Vue is now supported. Sadly though it is only showing up on the newest version of the iOS 11 beta. At the time I write this there is no Apple TV support for DIRECTV NOW and while DIRECTV shows up on the list of supported providers on the Apple support website DIRECTV NOW is still not shown.

Have you tested this out in a non-beta version of the Apple TV OS? Leave us a comment and let us know if it is working for you.
