PlayStation Vue Just Added Real-Time Scores to More Devices

Back in March PlayStation Vue announced a new feature that allowed real-time sports scores for games to be shown in the PlayStation Vue menu before you started to watch the game. This way you could know if it was a blow out before you switched over to the game. (No worries you can also turn off real time score feature to avoid spoilers if you are waiting to watch the big game.)

At first, the new real-time sports scores was announced to be added only to the PlayStation 4, Fire TV Box, and Android TV. Now it looks like they have started to roll it out to more devices just in time for football to start. Now according to readers, PlayStation Vue has added the new features to the Fire Stick. Still no word on Roku or Apple TV support but hopefully that will come before the start of the NFL season. (You may need to wait for your Fire Stick to be updated with the new PlayStation Vue app to see this new feature.)

“Our team is currently hard at work to bring even more new features to PS Vue. Coming soon, real-time sports scores will be added to help you know the games to watch. You can also turn off spoiler alerts if you are waiting to watch the big game. Stay tuned for more information on the additional sports features we’re adding to PS Vue.” Sadi Dan Myers Head of Product at PlayStation Vue.

Sadly no word on any plans to bring the Multi-view feature to new devices. Currently, PlayStation Vue only offers Multi View on the PlayStation 4. Hopefully, though other devices will get the ability to watch 3 streams at once at some future date.
