PlayStation Vue Just Added More CBS Affiliates

It looks like PlayStation Vue today added CBS affiliates from the Graham Media Group and Tenga. Combined these two media groups own 12+ CBS Affiliates. They include markets like Orlando/Dayton Beach and Tampa Bay.

With the addition of these CBS stations over 75% of PlayStation Vue subscribers can access their local CBS station, which is great news for the estimated 10% of Americans who struggle to access CBS for free over the air.

It always sounds great to say free over-the-air CBS covers 90% of the American population; however, that still leaves about 20 million Americans who will struggle to get access to CBS. Hopefully, more local stations jump on board to offer local channels as an option to stream.

Currently, PlayStation Vue has more CBS affiliates than any other streaming service. Currently, only Hulu, fuboTV, and YouTube TV are the only other major services with CBS. Yet CBS did just announce a deal to add CBS owned stations to DIRECTV NOW.
