PlayStation Vue Decides to Keep MGM HD

Earlier this month PlayStation Vue emailed subscribers about their plans to drop MGM HD from their lineup. The channel was slated to be moved according to the email on October 19th, 2017 but it was never removed as promised. Now it seems as they have changed their mind and will now keep MGM HD the 24/7 movie channel in their lineup.

In an email, to their subscribers, PlayStation Vue said “We are emailing to notify you that the MGM HD channel will remain in PlayStation Vue. Thank you for being a valued PlayStation Vue subscriber.”

Here is an image of the email they are sending out:

This is not the only change PlayStation Vue is backtracking on recently. October was supposed to be the month that grandfathered subscribers would see a $10 a month for anyone who currently has a PlayStation Vue Slim plan. Sony is not stating when it will move slim subscribers to the new rate. Instead of saying October it now says the price increase will happen in the “future.” When we asked them for a date when that price hike would happen they declined to comment.

For now, we are left to wait and see what Sony will do next as they have yet to comment on the future of PlayStation Vue after several public reversals.
