Earlier this year PlayStation Vue had a special offer if you signed up for the PlayStation Vue Ultra Slim. You could get the typically $64.99 service for just $54.99 for a year. Now Sony has reached out to these subscribers to let them know they will honor that deal. At first, these users reported that they had also received the email letting them know there was a price hike on the way. This left many wondering about the one year deal they thought they had.
Here is the email they sent these subscribers:
Effective July 6, 2017, PlayStation Vue transitioned Ultra Slim plans to a nationwide price of $74.99* for new customers.
As a valued existing customer of the Ultra Slim sale, you will keep the sale price of $54.99/mo* until the promotional term ends, 1 year from your first billing cycle on the sale price. After the Ultra Slim sale ends, your Ultra Slim price will change to $74.99/mo.* During the remainder of this promotional term, any changes to your plans will reflect currently available pricing.

Effective 7/6/2017 for new customers, PlayStationVue plans will have the same nationwide pricing, as follows:
Access: $39.99/mo*
Core: $44.99/mo*
Elite: $54.99/mo*
Ultra: $74.99/mo*
If you are already subscribing at one of the prices above, your price will not change.
If you have Access Slim, Core Slim, Elite Slim, or Ultra Slim pricing, you will keep your current price for three billing cycles after the July 6 pricing change announcement. At the conclusion of this period, your monthly subscription will change (on your subscription renewal date) to the pricing above, based on the plan you have. If you upgrade, downgrade, or re-subscribe during this special pricing period, currently available pricing will apply.
