This week PlayStation Vue dropped access to beIN Sports. Statements from beIN Sports say that Sony was not willing to “pay fair market value” for beIN Sports.
Well now it seems that Sony has found a new channel to replace beIN on PlayStation Vue. Today Eleven Sports a London based sports network that specializes in International Sports.
Eleven Sports Network first launched in March 2017 and is available on a handful of traditional pay-TV providers like Verizon FiOS, Mediacom, Google Fiber, RCN, and more. This will be the first time Eleven Sports Network is available on a live TV streaming service. For content it seems that Eleven Sports has acquired “certain distribution assets” of One World Sports. About the same time that Eleven Sports Network started One World Sports shutdown for good.
This deal with One World Sports gives Eleven Sports Network access to international rights to Basketball, Ice Hockey, Golf, Cricket, Soccer, and more. Many big-name leagues like AFC Asian Cup, Chinese Basketball Association, China Arena Football League, OneAisia Golf Tour, and more.
You will also find US soccer leagues like the New York Cosmos and the Miami FC.
We have reached out to Sony for comment and will update this story when we learn more.
