Playstation Vue Adds The Ability to Take Your DVR With You

Every wish you could access your PlayStation Vue DVR outside your house? Well now on the iPad and iPhone you can do just that.

In the past access to your PlayStation Vue DVR was limited and you needed to at least sync with your home network before watching them on a mobile device. Now PlayStation Vue is making it easier than ever to access your DVR recording outside of your house.

Now I have read mixed reports but from my understanding, Android devices have already had this feature? (If you can help confirm this please leave us a comment.

That is not the only new feature Sony rolled out this week. They also added the ability to restart live TV if you are recording it and more ways to find your shows.

Now if you hold down your select button on a show in the menu it will launch a new menu letting you watch latest episode, find more from that channel, or remove a show from your programs.

No longer do you need to dig down into the My Shows tab to find your DVR recordings. Now you can do that any time you run across that show in the guide.

PlayStation Vue also added the ability to restart live show you also setup to DVR. Now if you try to start a show that you have recording and has already started you will get the option to start the episode from the beginning or watch it live.

We have reached out to Sony for comment at this time we have not heard back from Sony about the PlayStation Vue update. Sony has also not made any official announcement on their social media or blog at the time of this posting.
