From the looks of it, this is the free ABC News feed you have been able to watch through The Roku Channel and through ABC’s dedicated news app on devices like the Fire TV. Now you can get it through your PlayStation Vue app.
This comes as PlayStation Vue is making some changes to its lineup. Destination America and the Science Channel are moving from the basic Access Plan to the high end Elite Plan. MotoTrend will be moved down to the Access Plan later today (if they have not already).
Here is the notice Sony posted on its website:
- On 9/18/2019, Destination America and Science Channel will be moving from Access Plan to Elite Plan
- Access and Core subscribers will lose Destination America and Science Channel. All of their associated On Demand and DVR content will no longer be viewable. If you wish to continue watching Destination America and Science Channel subscribers will need to upgrade to Elite Plan or above.
- MotorTrend will become available in the Access Plan and may be enjoyed by all plan subscribers.
