PlayStation Vue is Adding 15 More ABC Affiliates Today

Now PlayStation Vue has started to add 15 E. W. Scripps’ owned ABC affiliates across the United States. Several readers contacted Cord Cutters News today to tell them that WFTS the ABC affiliate in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida and WXYZ ABC Detroit have been added to PlayStation Vue.

Update: We can also now confirm that Cox Media Group ABC locals have been added to PlayStation Vue. Cox Media Group owns three ABC affiliates and their one NBC station was also added today.

Update #2: Some readers are telling us new stations are showing up on mobile first but not yet showing on streaming players. It looks like we caught this before Sony finished the full roll out that could easily take 24 hours or more. 

Update: #3: We are now hearing that Tenga ABC affiliates are being added. A reader has let Cord Cutters News know that WFAA 8 in Dallas TX has been added to PlayStation Vue. 

In total E. W. Scripps’ owns 15 ABC affiliates across the United States in markets like Las Vegas, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Denver, and Phoenix to name a few.

This all comes a week after PlayStation Vue added 7 CBS affiliates. Now it looks like today PlayStation Vue adding as many as 25 local affiliates across the United States today.  This seems to be a part of a race for locals with to race DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, and fuboTV for more live local affiliates.
