Recently, Philo began offering premium add-ons, starting with Epix and Starz. Philo subscribers can now add MGM’s Epix for $6 per month and Lionsgate’s Starz for $9 per month.

Through July 13, Philo is offering discounted pricing on its first two premium add ons, with Epix at just $3 per month and Starz for just $5 per month, for the first three months.

Philo is a streaming service focused on keeping costs low. The service doesn’t include sports or local networks but has over 50 channels including A&E, AMC, Comedy Central, Food Network, HGTV, Lifetime and Nickelodeon. A Philo subscription costs $20 per month. With the addition of premium add-ons, subscribers can choose to add even more channels while still keeping costs down.

“We are excited to provide these premium entertainment brands to our service as they have been consistently requested by our subscribers,” said Mike Keyserling, COO and head of content acquisition at Philo. “In these challenging times, we remain committed to offering high-quality entertainment content at a considerable value and with the addition of Epix and Starz we continue to deliver on this commitment.”
