Peacock Will Be Available on Apple Devices at Launch

NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service announced today that it will be fully integrated with the Apple TV app and available on Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD at launch on July 15, 2020.

Apple users will be able to enjoy a seamless viewing experience across their devices. On Apple devices, Peacock content will be in the Watch Now section, content will be able to be added to the Up Next feature, and the app will be compatible with Siri.

Peacock will have three tiers: a free tier with limited content, a premium tier for $4.99/month, and a premium ad-free tier for $9.99/month. Customers will be able to sign up for Peacock Free or upgrade to Peacock Premium directly within the Peacock app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV using in-app purchase.

“Our priority is to bring Peacock’s unrivaled collection of content to people across major distributors and device platforms,” said Matt Bond, Chairman, Content Distribution, NBCUniversal. “We look forward to bringing Peacock to Apple customers when we launch around the U.S. in July, capitalizing on Apple’s incredible reach and connecting with millions of viewers across their devices.”

What will you find on Peacock? Current season programming of NBC and Telemundo shows will be joined by past seasons of fan favorite shows, movies, and original programming. Peacock will also air NBC late night shows, news highlights, and 75 streaming channels with curated content.
