The upcoming college football season is months away, but NBC Sports is giving fans a taste of what’s to come after announcing its Peacock schedule. NBC has announced the first 15 games of the season featuring Notre Dame and the Big Ten.
The coverage begins on Friday, August 29 with a Week 1 matchup between the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Western Illinois Leathernecks, exclusively on Peacock. On the following night, the Michigan Wolverines are set to host the New Mexico Lobos on Peacock and NBC.
Later in the season, Peacock will get two more exclusive Big Ten matchups during a Week 3 doubleheader. Maryland takes on Towson and the reigning and defending National Champions Ohio State Buckeyes welcome the Ohio Bobcats to the Shoe. The rivalry of Indiana’s best continues on Black Friday when the Purdue Boilermakers host the Indiana Hoosiers.
For Notre Dame, NBC Sports continues its three-decade-long relationship with the Fighting Irish. Peacock will exclusively stream Notre Dame hosting NC State. Other notable opponents that will air on NBC and Peacock include USC, Navy, and Texas A&M.
