Peacock to Officially Stream an Exclusive NFL Game This Year

Last week we reported that Peacock would stream an exclusive NFL game this year. Now the NFL and NBC have officially announced that Peacock will stream an exclusive NFL playoff game.

Peacock will stream an exclusive playoff game this year. On January 13th 2024 NBC and Peacock will air a wild card game. With this deal, NBCUniversal will be the first media company to air three NFL playoff games in the same weekend.

NBC and Peacock will show 20 regular-season games as well as 18 regular-season Sunday Night Football games, three postseason games, and two Wild Card Playoff games, ending with one Divisional Playoff game. The NFL Kickoff 2023 and Thanksgiving game is also included on the roster. Between NBC and Peacock’s streaming service, coverage of every NFL game is accessible at your fingertips.

NBC has been the home of Sunday Night Football since August 2006 and has on and off been broadcasting NFL games since 1939. Sunday Night Football brings in massive audience numbers for NBC and for over a decade, has been the most popular primetime television programming.

NFL games continue to be some of the most watched events on TV, and now NBC wants to use that to help grow Peacock.

The games will be available with both Peacock’s Premium and Premium Plus plans (starting at $4.99 per month), so if you don’t want to miss the exclusive Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers game, sign up for a membership soon! Peacock Premium members will also be able to enjoy a live stream of the 2024 Super Bowl. A full schedule of the season is currently available to check out on Peacock’s website.
