Peacock is Launching on Samsung Smart TVs on June 8

On Monday, Peacock and Samsung announced the streaming service will be available on Samsung Smart TVs starting June 8, 2021. Samsung Smart TV users will now be able to access Peacock’s vast content library, including on-demand movies and shows and originals.

“Samsung is a powerful platform and we are excited to bring Peacock to millions of their dedicated streamers across the country,” said Maggie McLean Suniewick, President, Business Development and Partnerships, Peacock. “From the world premiere of The Boss Baby: Family Business to the Tokyo Olympics, Samsung users will now enjoy seamless access to many of the biggest programming events of the year, as well Peacock’s massive catalog of the best movies, TV shows, news and sports.”

The Peacock App on Samsung Smart TVs will bring popular Originals like Girls5eva and Rutherford Falls; documentary series John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise, as well as classic NBC content like The Office, Parks and Rec, as well as hundreds of hours of movies. This new launch also comes just in time for Peacock’s coverage of the Tokyo Olympics beginning July 23.

Peacock and the Peacock App are both free, with the Premium Tier at just $4.99 a month. In addition to Samsung Smart TVs, Peacock is currently available on Roku, iOS, Android and Android TVs, Chromecast, VIZIO SmartCast TVs, LG Smart TVs, and more.
