Peacock Announces Exclusive Stephen King Series

Peacock announced today that it will exclusively premiere a new season Mr. Mercedes, next month. The series is based on the New York Times Best-Selling Bill Hodges trilogy (Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch) by Stephen King.

The series previously aired on Audience Network and had been renewed for a third season that was not aired. Seasons 1 and 2 of Mr. Mercedes will stream exclusively on Peacock beginning October 15 with no premiere date for Season 3 set.

In Mr. Mercedes, a retired detective is tormented by a serial killer (Brady Hartsfield, aka Mr. Mercedes) through a series of letters and emails, causing him to set out on a dangerous and potentially felonious crusade to protect his loved ones and himself.

David E. Kelley and Dennis Lehane wrote and executive produced seasons one and two along with Stephen King. Jack Bender serves as director and executive producer.

Peacock was just added to Roku and is also currently available on Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K, and Apple TV HD; Google platforms and devices, including Android TV devices, Chromecast, and Chromecast built-in devices; Microsoft’s Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One S and Xbox One X; and VIZIO SmartCast TVs, Sony PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, and LG Smart TVs.
