Peacock adds all Nine Seasons of ‘Little House on the Prairie’

Peacock just added all nine seasons of the classic series Little House on the Prairie. Now you can take a trip down memory lane back to Walnut Grove and revisit the farm with all your favorite characters in the Ingalls family and more.

Along with Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert, there’s some hidden star power in the series you may have forgotten about. Tune in to see Kyle Richards before she was a Real Housewife, Shannon Doherty prior to finding fame in Beverly Hills 90210 and Heathers, and Jason Bateman before he was, well, Jason Bateman. Former Los Angeles Rams player Merlin Olsen was also a regular from 1977 to 1981 as “John Garvey” in the long-running family series.

With COVID-19 concerns, stay-at-home orders, political news, and the whole stress case that is 2020, it’s nice to have simple favorites like Little House on the Prairie to fall back on. A recent survey shows 7/10 respondents say quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic has made them more nostalgic than they’ve ever been before. There’s just something comforting in rewatching old favorites that can’t be replicated.

Peacock has three subscription options: Premium Free (with ads), Peacock Premium for $4.99/month and Peacock Premium with no ads for $9.99/month. The complete series of Little House on the Prairie is now available to stream on Peacock Premium.
