PBS Launches Free Live Streams of Select Stations on Roku, Apple TV, iOS & Android

The PBS channel is now free for Roku, Apple TV iOS and Android. For now, around 85 stations can be live streamed, but more are expected to be added to the list.

PBS viewers can live stream on major web browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, as well as through the PBS Video Channel on Roku, Apple TV, iOS, and Android devices.

To live stream your local station, go to pbs.org/livestream. The website will detect to see if your local station is available and ask you to confirm. If you’re in one of the available markets, the website will display the live stream.

Last year, PBS was added to the YouTube TV lineup in select areas. At that time, PBS discussed the possibility of bringing PBS to additional streaming services, but no deals have been made since.

These are the stations currently available to live stream.
