PBR’s RidePass Will Now Be Available for Free on Pluto TV

The Professional Bull Riders’ subscription video service RidePass is coming to Pluto TV. The ad-supported streamer will be the exclusive home to PBR’s RidePass service starting July 20, which will now be a free, ad-supported service like Pluto’s current model.

The first event featured on RidePass after moving to Pluto will be Utah’s “Days of 47 Cowboy Games and Rodeo,” on July 20-24. Upcoming programming includes PBR’s Unleash The Beast and Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour, marquee rodeos including WCRA Triple Crown, Indian National Finals Rodeo, Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, and National High School Rodeo Finals, premier horse and equestrian events, including “Road to the Horse,” highlight shows, and western sports shoulder programming.

RidePass launched in 2018 as a paid subscription featuring bull riding, rodeos, and other western sporting events. The current monthly subscription of $9.99 will now be eliminated as it comes to Pluto for free.

PBR also has a TV rights deal with CBS Sports through 2028.

“This new relationship with Pluto TV allows PBR to super-serve fans with hundreds of events and thousands of hours of great western sports programming now available for free,” Sean Gleason, PBR commissioner and CEO, said in a statement. “With PBR’s linear and streaming live event content all within the ViacomCBS family through CBS and Pluto TV, we will benefit from tremendous synergies to grow this first-of-its-kind sports network.”
