Paramount+ Launches Partnership With Powerhouse English Soccer Club Arsenal

In a major shakeup in the world of football, Paramount+ has officially joined Arsenal F.C.’s commercial roster in a global content and marketing partnership. The new global content and marketing deal blends entertainment, sports culture, and cross-platform storytelling.

With a focus on in-stadium branding, digital campaigns, and original content that pairs the streamer’s shows with Arsenal’s worldwide fandom. The partnership was launched with a short film narrated by Thierry Henry and is being billed as a way to bring Paramount’s entertainment brands and creative storytelling closer to the club’s global fanbase and player-driven content.

For Arsenal, this is a chance to add a major global entertainment brand to its commercial portfolio without changing its main sponsorship structure. For Paramount+, the club offers a massive international audience, especially in the United States, where Premier League fandom continues to grow.

Paramount+ & Arsenal Highlights

“We’re beyond excited to unite Paramount+ and Arsenal– two global iconic brands with supporters that live and breathe passion,” said Marco Nobili, Executive Vice President and International General Manager of Paramount+. “With hit series like SpongeBob, South Park, Landman, Yellowstone and more, we’re creating experiences that celebrate teamwork, elevate the game and connect supporters. This partnership brings the drama, comedy, and unforgettable moments of both worlds to life – on the pitch and beyond.”

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal said: “We’re delighted to welcome Paramount+ into our Arsenal family. They’re a world-class, global entertainment brand, and we’re so excited to work together and create new ways for our supporters to feel even closer to the club. Their expertise, creativity and investment strengthen our ability to deliver outstanding experiences for our supporters and supports our ambition to compete for major trophies.”

Paramount’s Post-Merger Sports Push Continues

This partnership also gives Paramount+ more ways to make its streaming catalog visible to sports fans, especially as the company leans deeper into live sports and international markets. Recently, the streamer secured the bulk of UEFA Champions League rights in the UK and Ireland starting in 2027. With the addition of the Champions League, Paramount+ put itself in front of one of the world’s most premium sports properties.

The platform has continued to build on other recent sports moves, including UFC, PBR, boxing, college football, and other commitments. By adding Arsenal to the mix, Paramount+ is strategically using the club’s alliances to create cultural credibility, social reach, and direct access to fans already hungry for sports content.

Beyond live sports, Paramount has emerged as the reported favorite in the race to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery. One of the key factors driving that expectation is Paramount’s reported willingness to take on CNN, an asset that has been a sticking point for other potential buyers.

If that merger or acquisition happens, Paramount would instantly become one of the most powerful combined entertainment brands in the industry, and its investment in sports, including moves like the Arsenal partnership, would likely accelerate even more.
