Paramount+ Announces the Date For Star Trek Day 2021 Livestream

Paramount+ announced the date for its second annual Star Trek Day, and this year marks the franchise’s 55th anniversary. Fans all over the world can tune in to the free livestream on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 PM, PT. The announcement came alongside a brand new trailer for the event.

“Live Long and Prosper! Celebrate Star Trek Day on September 8, an exclusive event that includes panels with the cast and crew from your favorite Trek series, exciting announcements and exclusive footage from the Star Trek Universe.”

Star Trek Day 2021 will be hosted by Wil Wheaton and Mica Burton Live from the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California, and feature in-person conversations with cast members and creatives from 10 Star Trek television series including Star Trek: Next Generation, Star Trek: Prodigy, Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, Star Trek: Picard, and more. In addition, composer Jeff Russo will lead a live orchestra performing Star Trek music throughout the night. Paramount+ says there will be more “legacy moments” with iconic cast, plus surprise announcements and reveals throughout.”

Fans worldwide will be able to live-stream the Star Trek Day celebration panels for free at StarTrek.com/Day. The panels will also be available to stream for free in the U.S. on Paramount+ and Paramount+’s Twitch page.

After their initial airing, the panels will be available on-demand on Paramount+’s YouTube Channel and on Paramount+.
