More live women’s soccer is coming to Paramount+ after CBS Sports just dropped its 2026 NWSL schedule. The crown jewel of this year’s schedule is the return of the NWSL Championship in primetime on CBS and Paramount+ for the fifth straight year.
Last year’s championship match set a record after surpassing one million viewers for the first time. The league looks to capitalize on that success as CBS Sports will carry a mix of marquee regular-season matches, multiple postseason windows, and heavy multiplatform coverage across CBS, CBS Sports Network, and Paramount+.
NWSL on CBS Sports 2026 Highlights
- Championship in primetime: The 2026 NWSL Championship will air on CBS and stream live on Paramount+ at 8:00 PM ET on Saturday, Nov. 21.
- Big multiplatform footprint: CBS will air 14 matches (including postseason windows) while CBS Sports Network televises an additional 25 matches, for 39 matches across CBS platforms this season. All matches that air on CBS will simulstream live on Paramount+.
- Early-season kickoff & doubleheader: CBS Sports begins coverage the week of March 25 with a March 25 kickoff on CBS Sports Network and a March 28 doubleheader (including Portland vs. Kansas City on CBS/Paramount+).
- Expansion club appearances: The new clubs (Denver Summit FC and Boston Legacy FC) get early national windows — including Boston Legacy’s CBS Sports Network home opener on May 3.
Throughout the 2026 season, cord cutters can watch CBS’s NWSL coverage for free with an antenna. CBS and CBS Sports Network can also be found on live TV streaming services, including Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, DIRECTV, and YouTube TV.
The upcoming season will make the NWSL more accessible than ever. In addition to Paramount+, fans can watch matches on Prime Video, ION, NWSL+, and Victory+, while ESPN will carry 33 regular-season games across its networks and platforms, capped by full coverage of Decision Day 2026.
