Nvidia Discontinues the Nvidia Shield Pro

For some time now there have been two versions of the Nvidia Shield, a standard version with 16GB and a Pro version with 500GB of storage. Now Nvidia has announced that they are discontinuing the Nvidia Shield Pro.

The good news is the standard Nvidia Shield  with 16GB is still available. If you want extra storage, you can add external storage. Beyond the storage, the two devices offer the same performance.

A few years ago, Nvidia also stopped making the Nvidia Shield tablet. Now Nvidia has recently made it clear that they are still supporting the Nvidia Shield and have even released several new bundles and software updates over the last year.

If you want an Nvidia Shield Pro there are a still a few new ones out there. You may have to do some digging to find them though as only a few are left on Amazon.
