Now That MoviePass Has Shut Down: Here Are Three Alternatives

Now that MoviePass, the movie theater subscription service, has shut down, we’re sharing three similar services to help you continue enjoying movie nights.

AMC Stubs A-List

AMC Stubs A-List allows users to make free online reservations for up to 3 movies per week. There are no blackout dates, multiple movies can be seen in the same day within the weekly limit, and you can see the same movie multiple times. The membership has a minimum 3-month commitment. Prices start at $19.95/month but may vary slightly based on location.

Regal Unlimited

“With an annual Regal Unlimited movie subscription pass, you can watch as many movies as you want, as many times as you want, whenever you want, wherever you want.” Subscriptions start at $18/month and include benefits including advance ticket sales, 10% off of food and non-alcoholic drinks, and more.

Cinemark Movie Club

With a Cinemark Movie Club membership, you’ll get one credit each month. That credit allows you to get one 2D adult ticket for any movie, any time. Unused credits roll over and never expire as long as you’re a member. Memberships are $8.99 or $9.99/month, depending on location. Benefits also include 20% off concessions, waived online fees, and special member pricing for an additional ticket.
