NHL Playoffs Continue Tonight: Here’s How to Watch Without Cable

The road to Lord Stanley is back with the 2021 NHL Playoffs. Seeding has been decided, the matchups have been made, and the action has started in the chase for the Stanley Cup. After a long year and a staggered schedule, 16 playoff teams have been announced and the division winners have been crowned. The Central and East divisions have completed their regular season, along with the West division’s regular season which ended on May 13, and the North division’s regular season will come to a close on May 19.

There are some modifications for this year’s postseason as Round 1 and Round 2 will take place within the division. The first place and fourth place team will face off, as will the second and third place team. The winners of each series will play each other in Round 2. The last four teams remaining will be re-seeded based on their regular season point total.

The defending Stanley Cup champion No. 3 Tampa Bay Lightning will be defending their ground as they take on cross-state rivals the No. 2 Florida Panthers in the opening round. Fans are quick to note that when the Bolts play the Cats their rivalry roars. The Bolts will be looking to repeat in a tough Central division.
