Comcast Drops NFL Network & NFL RedZone From It’s Xfinity TV Service Over Contract Fight

nfl

Xfinity recently announced the company will no longer be carrying the NFL Network. The network joined Xfinity’s available service in July of 2009, but recent negotiations have been taking place that came to an unfortunate standstill.

“Our programming agreement with the NFL Network has expired. This means that NFL Network, NFL RedZone, and NFL on Demand programming are currently unavailable through Xfinity.

We know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are committed to bringing you the entertainment you love, and we have made reasonable offers that NTFL Network has not accepted,” Xfinity stated in an update.

Little is known if further negotiations will take place, restoring the NFL Network to Xfinity, but for now, the two companies have parted ways. What will this mean for the future of the NFL Network? Check back with Cord Cutters News as further details are disclosed.
