NFL+ Is Offering 50% off Its Annual Plan Through October 9

NFL+, the National Football League’s over-the-top, OTT, subscription service, is offering new and returning subscribers 50% off its yearly plan. The offer runs through Monday, October 9.

NFL+ annual standard tier now costs $24.99 with the discount, and NFL+ Premium is $49.99.

The standard NFL+ membership regularly costs $49.99 and includes access to live local, primetime regular and postseason games on mobile and tablet as well as access to the NFL Network, live game audio, and ad-free NFL films on demand. NFL+ Premium costs $99.99 outside of the promotion and includes everything from the standard tier plus support for NFL Redzone as well as “full, condensed and all-22 coaches film replays of every game.”

The promotion gives sports fans cheaper and easier access to NFL Redzone which usually requires a subscription to another provider like DIRECTV, Dish, Hulu + Live TV and Spectrum.

Football season had a rocky start this year when a dispute between Disney and Spectrum resulted in a 12-day blackout. Some 14.7 million Spectrum customers had no access to multiple sports channels just as college football, the NFL and the U.S. Open were happening. The two companies eventually struck a deal that granted Spectrum TV Select Plus subscribers access to ESPN+, but it’s unclear at this time how much it will cost.
