New Sling User Experience Rolls Out on Fire TV

Earlier this year, we reported that Sling TV will be updating its app look across its compatible devices this summer. The rollout began in the past few weeks and has now reached all Fire TVs. Starting today, all Fire TV users will notice some changes to the look and navigation on the Sling TV app user interface.

Coming first to select Fire TV users, this latest upgrade includes a significantly revamped interface. Users should notice changes throughout the app, from the Home menu to the DVR and more. The new interface will be heading to Roku devices later this summer, with more to follow including Apple TV and Android TV.

A few months ago, Sling TV provided Cord Cutters News with a preloaded Fire TV Stick 4K to preview their newest app so we could test it out for you. In this video, we take you on a tour of what’s new and what’s in store for Sling TV users.

Not a Sling TV subscriber yet? Right now, you can sign up for just $10 for your first month on either Sling Orange or Sling Blue (normally $35/month). The offer also includes DVR Plus (normally $5/month) giving you 200 hours of storage. If you want to bundle the two packages, you can sign up for Sling Orange and Blue for just $25 for your first month (normally $50/month).
