New 8K Roku TVs
In 2020, TCL has announced that new Roku TVs are in the works including the new 4K TCL 8-series Roku TVs. No exact date has been announced for when the new 8K Roku TVs from TCL will come, but TCL has confirmed it is coming in 2020.
New Roku Streaming Players
Roku has been tightlipped on new streaming players, but Roku is overdue for a new Roku Stick+. Recently Roku updated the remote for the Roku Stick+ its 4K HDR streaming stick but the stick itself has remained unchanged longer than usual. Look for an updated Roku Stick+ as word is Roku is in the early testing likely for a fall 2020 release.
New Roku Speakers
Dave Zatz, a well-respected source on new products working through the FCC approval process, has posted that a refresh of the 2018 Roku Wireless speakers is in the works. With Roku rolling out surround sound support for its soundbars and wireless speakers, look for a refresh of the Roku Wireless speakers to likely come this fall or very late spring.
Roku has really moved hard into speakers as a focus for the company. Look for more audio products to come from Roku in the years to come.
