Infamous Media, an independent company owned by The Soprano’s writer and producer Terence Winter and media and tech executive Joe Poletto has launched a new free, ad-supported streaming channel, MOB TV. The channel is devoted exclusively to all aspects of mafia and organized crime, featuring both familiar and untold stories of the mafia and the world’s most infamous gangsters.
On MOB TV, fans will be able to find their favorite mob-related content and discover new stories all in one place including top shows, movies, and documentaries, all developed by a team of media and content experts. The channel will launch with a mix of classic film noir crime genre favorites, as well as original interview programming featuring top gangsters recounting their life stories. MOB TV will eventually produce original content under the direction of acclaimed writer Terence Winter.
“America’s fascination with gangsters and mob figures goes back over a hundred years, to early motion pictures with fast-talking gangsters doling out bullets and beatings to anyone who crossed them,” said Winter. “We’re thrilled to bring a dedicated channel to fans of the genre and build MOB TV into a destination for all things gangster and mob-related.”
MOB TV will be available on Plex, LG, Klowd TV and Xiaomi at launch with expanded distribution to come.
