Love British TV? We have good news for you… British rivals BBC Worldwide and ITV are teaming up to jump into the U.S. streaming marketplace with a new ad-free streaming subscription video on-demand (SVOD) service called BritBox. To do this they are joining forces with AMC here in the States.

BritBox will offer up a comprehensive collection of British content including dramas that have since been unavailable in the U.S. such as New Blood, from novelist Anthony Horowitz, Tutankhamun, The Moonstone and In The Dark from Ordinary Lies writer Danny Brocklehurst. Season premieres of Cold Feet and Silent Witness will also stream on the service alongside popular Brit soaps such as Eastenders, Emmerdale and Holby City, which will be available 24 hours after their UK broadcast.

“BBC and ITV are known for a vast array of diverse and award-winning programming that fans in the U.S. love and want to watch,” said Soumya Sriraman, President, BritBox. “Those fans now have a one-of-a-kind SVOD service option that offers a single point of access to an extensive collection of outstanding British programming to discover and enjoy.”

BritBox will be available web, AppleTV, iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile phones and tablets – with Roku and Chromecast shortly after launch. You can start a 7 day FREE trial today and $6.99 a month after that.

Update: A earlier version of this story had ABC when it should have read AMC as the partner the BBC is working with. We also updated the image as the streaming rights for Doctor Who are owned by Amazon Prime Video at this time. We apologizes for the confusion this may have caused.
