New AT&T Watch TV Details

Last week AT&T officially announced their AT&T Watch TV service. This new sports free streaming service will include 30+ channels for $15 or free if you have an AT&T Unlimited & More plan. AT&T did say it would launch this week but details of the standalone $15 a month service would come at a later date.

Now we may have some new details about AT&T Watch leaking out. Now some of this comes from AT&T chat support so it could always be wrong but Cord Cutters News has been able to confirm some of it through our own sources.

Supported Devices:

Noticeable not listed and not even mentioned as coming soon is Roku and the Fire TV. Well AT&T Watch TV is said to be built on DIRECTV NOW’s app it looks like AT&T will have a second standalone version of the app not currently live on all devices. Hopefully, AT&T will soon roll out support for Roku and the Fire TV.

How to Sign Up:

According to AT&T Chat if you have a supported AT&T Wireless plan you will be able to go over to ATTWatchTV.com and link your accounts by visiting ATTWatchTV.com/Verify. Right now ATTWatchTV.com just goes to a login page exactly what happened with DIRECTVNOW.com before DIRECTV NOW launched. Cord Cutters News can confirm that AT&T does now ATTWatchTV.com and registered it all the ways back on September 28th, 2017.

Release Date:

We can confirm it will be launching this week and could be as soon as today.

As always things can change I would expect AT&T Watch TV to support Roku and the Fire TV soon but for not it looks like at launch they won’t be supported. Want to see the screenshots of the AT&T support chat that started this? You can find them in our Facebook Group HERE.
