New 24 HR Streaming Service AccuWeather NOW Launching This Summer

AccuWeather announced it’s launching a streaming video service called AccuWeather Now later this summer. The service will offer 24 hours of continuous daily programming dedicated to all things weather, from global forecasts, to short and long-form documentaries, and extreme weather conditions and natural events. This new platform will be in addition to AccuWeather’s current suite of offerings. AccuWeather’s award-winning 24/7 national network already reaches 36 million households with another 1.5 billion people globally from online access.

“Our viewers depend on AccuWeather to deliver the most accurate forecast as well as comprehensive and compelling weather coverage of hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, flooding, heat waves and extreme weather of all types that impact and disrupt lives and livelihoods,” said AccuWeather Network General Manager Sarah Katt. “Since not everyone has access to cable, and with more people becoming increasingly more invested in weather and its impact to people, communities and businesses, the launch of AccuWeather NOW is a natural extension of our global weather footprint and six decades of expertise.”

Along with breaking weather news, the AccuWeather NOW will appeal to younger generations with weather-related content pulled from popular platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Twitter.
