Netflix’s ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ Viewership Grew by Nearly 130% This Week

Streaming viewers are clearly feeling the Halloween spirit, as Netflix’s new series The Haunting of Bly Manor‘s demand grew by 128% compared to the previous seven days. According to data from Parrot Analytics, The Haunting of Hill House sequel is at the top out of 100 digital originals only available on streaming platforms with the highest TV audience demand for the week ending October 13.

Of the top ten to make the list, Netflix holds seven of the spots for an increase in demand. While DC Universe’s Swamp Things is number 2, Netflix Originals account for the next five consecutive spots on the list, with the true-crime documentary series Making a Murderer in third place. There are currently 2 seasons on the streaming platform. Season 1 won four Emmys, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.

The list above reflects the data analyzed from the top 300 TV shows across all platforms – both digital streaming and linear – with the highest TV audience demand for the 7 days ending October 13. Demand for The Spanish Princess on Starz has increased by 182.5% and has 15.6 times the demand of the average TV show in the United States, landing it in the “outstanding” performance category. WarnerBros Animaniacs rose 132% landing it in second place, and Netflix’s The Haunting of Bly Manor is in the number 3 spot.
