Ever wondered what the most popular shows on Netflix are, and how they stack up against each other? A new report by JustWatch gives insight into which Original shows and movies on Netflix are the most popular overall.
According to the data, Stranger Things is by far the streamer’s most popular show, and almost twice as popular as the second place, The Queen’s Gambit. It’s also 4.5x more popular than the No. 10 title, Sex Education.
It’s also interesting to note that two out of the top three shows feature a female protagonist.

In movies, the top title doesn’t hold such a drastic lead compared to its runners up. The Trial of the Chicago 7 is Netflix’s most popular Original movie, followed by Enola Holmes and The Old Guard. Each of the first three rankings are separated by only 0.1 each.
Interestingly, I Care A Lot and The Mitchells vs The Machines both made the top 10 most popular list despite being released just this year. Also, kudos to actress Millie Bobby Brown for making it into the top two rankings on both lists!
