Part of these push for new content will be choose-your-own-adventure shows. You likely remember choose-your-own-adventure books from your childhood. Stories that let you pick the outcome from a list of possible options. Now Netflix wants to do the same by launching a series of shows that allow you to select what happens next.
At first, these choose-your-own-adventure stories had been reported to be aimed at children now Bloomberg is reporting that the shows will also be aimed at an older audience. These shows will allow Netflix to have something that for now traditional pay-TV cannot match.
It is also reported that Netflix plans to prioritize original series that customers can’t get anywhere else because Netflix believes they will endear customers to Netflix.
