Last year, Netflix launched a Moments feature for mobile devices, allowing users to save and share their favorite clips from shows and movies on mobile devices. Today, Netflix announced an update to the feature.
When the feature launched, users could only select a starting point for the clip. They can now set both a starting and ending point, to get the exact clip they want to save and share.
Netflix says that since the feature launched, the scene in KPop Demon Hunters with the Saja Boys debuting “Soda Pop” has been the most-saved clip globally. They’re also anticipating some save-worthy clips from the newly released Wednesday Season 2, Part 2, which started streaming today.
Here’s how to clip to save, rewatch, and share your favorite moments from Netflix TV shows and movies on the Netflix app on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, and iPad.
- While watching, tap the screen, then tap Clip (Note: You can’t clip from live events, trailers, downloaded TV shows and movies, or from Netflix games.)
- Clip a moment – set a start and end time. Moments can be up to 2 minutes long.
- Tap Save.
- Share your moment with family and friends. You can rewatch saved Moments anytime in My Netflix.
