Streaming giant Netflix announced Netflix Stories, a collection of interactive narrative games, on Tuesday. Netflix confirmed that the new app will join the streaming service’s catalog of games available for Netflix subscribers, free of ads and in-app purchases. The new app launches with Netflix Stories: Love is Blind on Sept. 19 — a few days before the show enters its fifth season.

“In the game, you’ll be able to (virtually) step into the pods as the newest singles on the series and embark on your own journey of true love and self-discovery,” Amir Rahimi, Vice President of Netflix Game Studios said in a release.

From the trailer, it looks like Netflix Stories games will take after simulation apps like Choices: Stories You Play and Episode: Choose Your Story. Players can customize their nown character and choose different dialogue options that influence the direction of the game’s story.

The Netflix Stories app will also offer preview chapters for Netflix Stories: Money Heist and Netflix Stories: Virgin River, ahead of their respective premieres later this year, with plans to add more stories later. Netflix joined the mobile gaming world in 2021 and has continued expanding its offerings with titles like The Queen’s Gambit Chess, Oxenfree, Twelve Minutes and Kentucky Route Zero.
