Netflix Reveals its Upcoming Movie Slate Through the End of the Year

Netflix has announced all of the Original movies heading to the streamer for the rest of the year and there are 42 upcoming original films to get excited for, including its holiday movie slate and some premiering in select theaters.

After we wrap up new August titles we’re still waiting on like He’s All That, Netflix’s September slate includes heavy-hitting releases including Kate, The Starling, and even some family-friendly options like My Little Pony: A New Generation.

Later in the fall, Netflix has some season-appropriate thrillers and horror movies to get you spooked for Halloween. There’s Someone Inside Your House, Night Teeth, Hypnotic, and more all premiere in October.

Netflix has plenty of star power headlining its upcoming releases too. A-list actors making appearances include Idris Elba (The Harder They Fall), Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne Johnson (Red Notice), Elisabeth Moss and Benedict Cumberbatch (Power of the Dog), and perhaps the streamer’s most star-studded title of the quarter, Don’t Look Up which boasts a cast of actors including Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothy Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Matthew Perry, Ariana Grande, and more.

And don’t forget about the Holiday movies. Netflix has become a regular go-to for Christmas movies over the last few years, and 2021 will be no exception. New titles include A Boy Called Christmas, Single all the Way, and Vanessa Hudgens will be reprising her royal role as The Princess Switch returns for a third installment.
