Netflix NFL Christmas Day Snags Drew Brees, Greg Olsen, Mina Kimes, RG3 & More in All-Star Talent Lineup

With Christmas just two weeks away, Netflix has announced an all-star on-air talent lineup to cover its pair of NFL games and the post and pregame shows.

This December 25, Netflix will be the home of NFL football with two big-time matchups in a doubleheader fans won’t want to miss. At 1:00 PM, Patrick Mahomes and the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs visit Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers. At 4:30 PM, the streaming platform will present another AFC matchup live from NRG Stadium when C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans host two-time and reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Houston’s own Beyonce is performing at the halftime show in front of the home crowd to celebrate the holiday tradition.

In addition to Beyonce, Netflix is turning up the pressure with an all-out blitz for Gameday featuring some of the biggest names in NFL analysis and commentary, live from Pittsburgh, Houston, and Los Angeles.

NFL Christmas Gameday Pregame Show Hosts

Fans will get their NFL Christmas Day fix at 11 AM ET with the live pregame show from NFL Network’s studios in Los Angeles and Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh kicking off the day.

Los Angeles pregame show hosts include:

Pittsburgh pregame show hosts include:

Comedian Bert Kreischer will join NFL Christmas Gameday as a tailgate correspondent and comedian Nate Bargatze will join as special guest commentator.

Other on-air talent during NFL Christmas Day on Netflix includes Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Insider reporting breaking news, and former NFL official Gene Steratore serving as the rules analyst during both games.

On-Air Talent for Chiefs vs. Steelers

When the Chiefs-Steelers game kicks off at 1:00 PM live on Netflix, the pre-game commentators will return at halftime. During the game, a quartet of CBS Sports stars will serve as on-air talent calling all the action on the field:

On-Air Talent for Ravens vs. Texans

The Ravens-Texans game kicks off at 4:30 PM ET on Netflix and features a mix of familiar on-air faces that most NFL fans should recognize:

Netflix will stream the game globally in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German. This is expected to be the most watched event on the streaming giant since the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight that was plagued with buffering issues earlier this year. After that fight, questions were raised about the NFL’s Christmas games and if Netflix would be able to handle the traffic. A Florida Man sued Netflix over the buffering and streaming issues, and it was reported that the streamer reached out for help to produce its upcoming games.

With over 70 million subscribers, Netflix’s Standard with Ads plan is one of the most popular streaming options and it only costs $6.99 per month. The ad-supported plan features thousands of movies, shows, Netflix originals, and live events, including NFL Christmas Day and all of the platform’s mobile games. You can watch your favorites in 1080p (Full HD) on up to two supported devices simultaneously with download availability. Subscribers have options to upgrade to other plans and you can cancel or change your plan at any time.
